We are excited to announce the publication of the updated edition of the WHA Racers book, with the new title POSITIVE WAVES: a history of Indianapolis Racers hockey 1974-1979.

The critically acclaimed first edition of the book was published in 2007 with the title "Red, White & Blues: a personal history of Indianapolis Racers hockey 1974-1979," and has been out-of-print for several years. (The book was also updated in 2009 for inclusion as an electronic book for the WHA Hall of Fame's "Gretzky, Indy & the WHA" 2-DVD set, which is now also out-of-print).

Positive Waves is the only firsthand history of Wayne Gretzky's entrance to major league hockey, and the remarkable story of how Indianapolis became dedicated to the WHA Racers. Authored by WHA Hall of Fame president Timothy Gassen, the book features a complete team history, multiple Racers player interviews, complete franchise statistics, and three photo sections including many previously unpublished images.
